About The Lecturer
Nicole is a human being who practices law and emphasizes a relational approach. Relational Contracting focuses energy at the outset of the agreement with a keen eye toward peace-keeping between parties. By helping parties assume more authority, more agency, and more ownership over the legal relationship, this approach can address change and resolve disputes more amicably than traditional ADR or litigation.
Nicole has been outside general counsel to the California cannabis industry since 2014, including all manner of partnerships, contracts, and M&A transactions between industry players. Earlier in her career, she defended civil and criminal matters in state and federal courts.
